At the request of numerous schools, to prevent errors, the
delete button on the "edit booking" form has been disabled. If you need
to annul a booking, you have three choices, depending on the
circumstances: you can enter a credit, you can enter a correction, or
you can edit the booking and set the number of lessons to zero.
When adding students manually to an attendance list, the students are
now "present" by default.

This is a major update, requiring a new license. If
you are an existing KVS/3 customer with a current support contract, you
are entitled to a substantial discount.
You can use this update to upgrade your existing KVS/3 workstations.
Download the update for KVS 4.0.4 using the link on the left. Unzip the
file "kvs.exe" from this file, and replace "kvs.exe" whereever you have
installed it in your network.
If you wish to use the new capability to send e-mail
by SMTP, you will need to download and install the
OstroSoft SMTP component. We
have licensed this component for all KVS customers. To install the
OstroSoft SMTP component on each workstation:
- Log in to the workstation with administrative
privileges.
- Download the file
osstmp.zip.
- Unzip this archive to the Windows System
directory. It contains the file "ossmtp.dll".
- Register the file using the command "regsvr32
osstmp.dll" from the command line.
