KVS is licensed on a per-site basis; a license entitles you to install KVS on one server at a designated school location. If your school has several sites, we offer multiple-location discounts.

KVS consists of a base system plus a number of additional modules; you select the ones that you require. In addition, you purchase a number of client access licenses - this is the number of computers that may simultaneously access the KVS databases.

This allows you to tailor KVS to meet your school's particular needs. Small schools may need only the base system plus two or three client licenses. Larger schools will likely need additional modules, plus a larger number of clients. If you later decide that you need additional functions or more clients, adding modules is easy and can be done at any time.

1. Complete the order form. You can order online.
   
2. Make payment. Pay the total calculated on the order form, by electronic transfer. If you order online, you will find bank details on the order confirmation page.
   
3. Request a license. Start KVS (after installing it, of course) with the "/install" option. Press the button at the lower-left to generate an e-mail request (if this button is not enabled, then you have not yet created a demo-license - do this first). Send this e-mail to support@school-admin.biz - it contains the information necessary for us to generate a license key for your server.
