Teachers

In the "Name" field, select the unique name you entered for this teacher under his or her address. Fill in the remaining fields a sappropriate.

In addition, for each teacher you should enter the following information:

• Vacation - if the teacher is going on vacation, enter the dates here. In the daily plan, KVS will flag the events that require substitute teachers.
  
• Availability - enter the times that the teacher is available to teach. KVS will use this information when recommending teachers for course meetings and events. KVS knows when teachers are busy because they are already teaching a course - you don't need to block those hours here. Here you simply indicate, for instance, that teacher John Smith is never available on Mondays because he's taking care of his children.
  
• Qualifications - enter which subjects and course types the teacher is qualified to teach. KVS will use this information when recommending teachers for course meetings and events. Note: if the teacher is qualified for any course-type associated with a subject, the teacher will be present on the list of possible teachers for that subject. However, the teacher will only be marked as qualified if he or she is qualified for that particular course-type/subject combination.
