Semesters

If your school uses semesters, trimesters, or any similar system where courses are fixed-length and take place during defined times, then you will want to define the time-periods here. Whatever the time periods may be, KVS refers to them as semesters.

When you design your course-types, you can choose whether or not the courses of each type pay attention to the semesters you define here - hence, your school can have a mix of semester and non-semester courses. You should define semesters as far in advance as practicable, so that the course counseling window and the daily plan can use them to provide you with correct information.
